6/29/ ~Report of larceny from a motor vehicle was made.  Personal property was reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle near Okrow and Clinton Streets.



7/4 ~Report of malicious destruction of property was made in the 100 Block of South Macomb Street.  A vehicle was deliberately damaged.  All parties were identified, the suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Washtenaw County Jail.  The case has been turned over to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office for review and charges.

7/11 ~A report of a hit and run crash was made in the area of Liberty and Vernon Streets.  A vehicle was damaged while parked roadside and no notification was left.  The case remains under investigation.

7/2 ~A resident from the 300 block of Cambridge Drive, reported an identity theft where an account had been opened up through Verizon.

~Deputies responded to Second Street in Dexter Twp. to assist a citizen with recovering their vehicle.

7/3 ~Deputies policed a property damage crash on Mast near North Territorial

~Deputies responded to the 200 block of Victoria Avenue for a report of subjects lighting fireworks which had struck a residence.   The parties involved were contacted and advised regarding safety measures.

~Deputies responded to the 6000 block of Dexter Pinckney Rd. to investigate a suspicious situation.  The complainant indicated hearing what they believed to be a gunshot coming from inside of or near a business.  Deputies checked the wellbeing of the occupants in the building.  Everything was secure  and police were unable to locate any evidence of shots fired.

~Deputies responded to the 7000 block of Dexter Ann Arbor Road to investigate missing cash from a business.   At this time it is not clear if the cash was in fact stolen.

7/4 ~Deputies responded to the area of Silver Hill Road for what was reported as a hit and run crash involving a mini bike.   It was determined there was not a crash and the teenager riding the mini bike had simply fallen off.

~Deputies responded to the area of 3000 Sandhill for a report of unknown subject(s) ringing the doorbell at a residence.   Deputies checked the area but did not locate anyone.

~Deputies responded to the 9400 block of McGregor Road to check on a subject who was discovered passed out in the grass.  Deputies assisted the subject in getting home.

7/6 ~Deputies responded to the 8000 block of Parkridge Drive to assist in a neighbor dispute.

7/8 ~Deputies responded to Huron River Drive and Mast for a property damage crash.  There were no injuries and one driver was cited.

7/8 ~Larceny from motor vehicle in the 2800 Block of Sagebrush Circle in Scio Township. Sunday July 8, 2018 at approximately 12:05pm, deputies responded to a Larceny from Vehicle Report. During the night unknown suspects entered an unlocked vehicle stealing unknown items. The suspects left in an unknown direction. The case is under investigation.

~Larceny from motor vehicle 2700 Block of Sagebrush Circle in Scio Township. Sunday July 8, 2018 at approximately 2:40pm, deputies responded to a Larceny from Vehicle Report. Between 2:00am – 2:40pm unknown suspects entered an unlocked vehicle stealing unknown items. The suspects left in an unknown direction. The case is under investigation.

~Larceny from Motor Vehicle 2800 Block of Sagebrush Circle in Scio Township. At approximately 2:45pm, deputies responded to a Larceny from Vehicle Report. Between 2:00am –4:00am unknown suspects entered an unlocked vehicle stealing unknown items. The suspects left in an unknown direction. The case is under investigation.

During the night unknown suspects entered an unlocked vehicle stealing unknown items. The suspects left in an unknown direction. The case is under investigation.

7/9 ~Burglary in the 6600 Block of Jackson Road in Scio Township. At approximately 7:50am, deputies responded to the report of a burglary. Between 1:00pm July 7 and 7:45am July 9 unknown suspects entered a building under construction stealing cash. The suspects left in an unknown direction. The case is under investigation.

~Home Invasion in the 4800 Block of Cottonwood Lane in Dexter Township. Monday July 9, 2018 at approximately 9:20pm deputies responded to the report of a Home Invasion. Between 10:00am – 8:00pm July 5 unknown suspects entered an unlocked residence stealing musical equipment, electronics and miscellaneous items. The suspects left in an unknown direction.
