CITY OF DEXTER
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER AN APPLICATION FOR REZONING
Pursuant to Michigan Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended, notice is hereby given that the City of Dexter Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 7:00 pm, at the Dexter Senior Center, 7720 Dexter Ann Arbor Road, Dexter, Michigan.
The purpose of hearing is to consider a rezoning request initiated by the City of Dexter, for property located at 8180 Huron Street (08-03-31-475-001). The City is requesting to rezone the subject site, from I-1 Limited Industrial to VR Village Residential, for consistency with the Master Plan. The VR Village Residential District is intended to encourage residential/mixed-use development in a manner consistent with the preservation and enhancement of property values with existing residential areas.
LOT 24 AND THE NORTHERLY 22 FEET OF LOT 31 “MARY J. RAYWALT’S 2ND ADDITION TO THE VILLAGE OF DEXTER” CITY OF DEXTER, WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN, AS RECORDED IN LIBER 67, PAGE 306, WASHTENAW COUNTY RECORDS, SUBJECT TO EASEMENTS OR RESTRICTIONS OF RECORD.
A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the City Offices, 8123 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Dexter, MI 48130; weekdays between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Any questions regarding the rezoning application may be directed to the Office of Community Development at 734-580-2233.
Interested parties are welcome to attend the public hearing and present their comments. Written comments regarding the proposed rezoning should be submitted to the Office of Community Development at the address listed above or via email to email@example.com, and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2019.
