PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) PETITION AND AREA PLAN

Pursuant to Michigan Public Act 110 of 2006 (the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act), as amended notice is hereby given that the City of Dexter Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2016, for the purpose of considering a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Petition and Area Plan. The public hearing will be held at the Dexter Senior Center, 7720 Ann Arbor Street, Dexter, Michigan.



The PUD Petition and Area Plan was submitted by Steve Brouwer, on behalf of MMB Equities, LLC for three adjacent parcels located at the southwest corner of Grand Street and Baker Road, for a Mixed Use Residential Development. The subject site is zoned I-1 Limited Industrial Business District.  Any land use or mix of land uses authorized in the City of Dexter Zoning Ordinance may be considered for a PUD District.

Copies of the plans and application are available for public inspection at the City Offices, 8123 Main Street, 2nd  Floor, Dexter, MI 48130; weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Any questions regarding the PUD Petition
and Area Plan should be directed to the Office of Community Development at 734-580-2233.

Interested parties are welcome to attend the public hearing and present their comments.  Written comments  regarding the proposal should be submitted to the Office of Community Development at the address listed above or via email to maniol@dextermi.gov and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 29, 2016.

A sign language interpreter, or other assistance, may be provided upon request to the City Manager  cnicholls@dextermi.gov, at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Minutes of all meetings are available on the City website, www.dextermi.gov.
