2018 Summer Kids Cooking Camp & Chef’s Club
Kids Cooking Camp returns. This summer the focus will be on “Starting the Day Right – Healthy Breakfasts You’ll Love!” Participants will gain hands-on experience with basic cooking skills and safe kitchen practices to foster confidence in the kitchen and have fun with cooking.
The camp takes place Monday – Friday, July 30 – August 3 with five 3-hour class sessions, from 9am to noon – sign up for one, two, three, four or five.
This is for kids in first through third grade and takes place at Chelsea First United Methodist Church, 128 Park St.
The cost is $25 per 3-hour class session and the cost includes all supplies and food.
Summer Chef’s Club is for older youth to experience in-depth cooking techniques and knowledge, including a restaurant or farm field trip. This summer’s theme will be Italian cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
It takes place Wednesday through Friday, August 8-10 with three six hour, 9am to 3:30pm class sessions with a break for lunch onsite. This club takes place at Chelsea First United Methodist Church, 128 Park St. and is for kids in grades seven through nine. The cost is $150 for the three day workshop and includes all supplies and food cost.
