SALINE CITY COUNCIL

MAY 21, 2018

SYNOPSIS

The Regular meeting of the Saline City Council was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Marl at Saline City Hall. The Mayor and six members of Council were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  Council voted to approve the Agenda was approved as submitted. There were no citizen comments. The following Consent Agenda items were approved by City Council: Council minutes of the May 7, 2018 regular meeting; payment of 84 payees in the amount of $280,264.53; Appointment of Karen Delhey to the Arts & Culture Committee; Second Amended LDFA #1 & LDFA #2 Budget; Second Amended TIFA Budget; Updated Investment Report; Resignation of Christen Mitchell from the Saline Community Foundation Task Force.

New Business:

Council voted to approve the following: Second Amended EDC Budget; Scout Camporee; Washtenaw County Connecting Communities Grant; Setting of Water/Sewer Rates; Millage Rate for the FY18/19 General Appropriations Act; Proposed Budget for FY18/19 Scheduling of Public Hearing; FY19 Strategic Plan; Fireworks.  There were eight Discussion and/or Report items.

There was one public comment.
