Saline Community Education offers a wide array of camps designed to enrich the educational and social experiences of children and adolescents across various disciplines. These summer camps are aimed at providing valuable learning opportunities outside of regular school hours.

Saline Community Ed is offering 32 summer camps designed for all ages and interests from Legos to Babysitting Basics to Welding. A few examples include:

  1. Baking FUNdamentals – Similar to the Boot Camp but focuses on fundamental baking skills, including cookies, muffins, and pie dough, emphasizing the science behind baking.
  2. Brixology – Campers learn about different types of engineering by building projects with LEGO® bricks, covering topics from aerospace to mechanical engineering.
  3. CAD for Beginners – Introduces students to 3D modeling with Onshape software, providing a solid foundation in CAD technology.
  4. Chess Lions Summer Camp – Open to all levels, this camp enhances chess skills from basic moves to advanced game strategies.
  5. Eureka! STEM Makers: Gadgets and Gizmos Camp – A STEM-focused camp where kids build gadgets and learn about famous inventors and their inventions.
  6. Exploratory Spanish – Introduces younger students to Spanish through games and activities, fostering basic language skills and cultural appreciation.
  7. Exploring Global Cuisines – A culinary journey where campers cook dishes from around the world, learning about international ingredients and cooking techniques.
  8. Fairy on the Fly: Summer Sparkle Stories – Focuses on creating fairy tales and crafts, encouraging creativity and imagination in storytelling.
  9. How to Be a Great Babysitter – Teaches babysitting skills including CPR and basic childcare, culminating in a certification.
  10. Intro to Imaging: A Beginner’s Guide to Graphic Design and Photography – Campers learn the basics of graphic design and photography using Adobe tools, enhancing their creative skills.

These camps not only provide educational benefits but also offer a platform for students to interact, build social skills, and engage in new experiences during school breaks.
