The girls’ lacrosse team used a high-powered offense and goals from seven different girls to slip by Dexter 14-11 last week.

The Hornets offense was clicking from the start as they took a 9-6 lead into the half.

Both teams battled in the second half, but the Hornets came away with the win, scoring five times.

Grace Livsey led the Hornets with four goals.


Emily Hill and Anna LeChard scored three each, while Hanah Allen, Maddy Szczypka, Kate Kloosterman, and Alaina Dorset scored one each.

Megan Szczypka had six saves in net for the Hornets.
