Saline Girls’ Swim Team Wins Huron Relays

The Saline girls’ swim team opened 2018 with an impressive win at the 17th Annual Huron Relays last week.

The Hornets finished with 412 points, clipping Northville with 398 and Brighton 384.

Saline used balanced finishes to win the meet. They had three second place finishes and four third place finishes in the eight swimming events.

Emily Laing, Anna Bosinger, Maddie Luther, and Johanna Jorgenson teamed up to finish second in the 200 free.

Luther and Jorgenson also teamed with Amelia Hayes and Allison Ploutz-Snyder to finish second in the 400 free relay, while Hayes, Johanna Ehrman, Samantha Graten, and Kiersten Russell were second in 200 back.

Third place finishes went to the relay team in the 400 IM, 200 medley, 800 free, and 200 breast.
