Saline Soccer Records Pair of Shutouts

The Saline soccer team wrapped up its regular season with a pair of shutouts last week.

The Hornets opened the week by blanking Bedford 4—0.

Saline scored two goals in each half, while Quinn Fox and Sam Herner combined for the shutout in net for the Hornets.

Eric Kent led the Saline offense with a pair of goals, while Charlie Rogers and Braeden Stavros each scored one.

The Hornets then shut out Chelsea 6-0 in a SEC crossover Thursday night.

Saline dominated from the start with three first-half goals and put the game away with three more second-half goals.

Kent again led the offense with a pair of goals. Also scoring for the Hornets were Ryan Nichols, Nate Learman, Drew Doran, Jake McCandless.

The Hornets take part in the Division 1 district at Ann Arbor Skyline. Should they make it, the championship game is Saturday at noon at Skyline.
