The Saline soccer team used a rout of Monroe and a rain-shortened tie with Huron last week to remain undefeated the SEC Red and still sit atop the league standings.
The week opened with Saline and Huron playing a scoreless first half, but storms rolled in at halftime and the game was called giving both teams a tie in the standings.
The Hornets then rolled past Monroe 7-0 Thursday night.
Seven different Hornets scored on the night. Picking up goals for Saline were Charlie Rogers, Zeke Grey, Logan Dejanovich, Eric Kent, Connor Martin, Brayden Stavros and Mitch Kalitta. Quinn Fox and Sam Herner combined for the shutout in net for Saline.
The Hornets then traveled to Brighton for a matinee Saturday and came home with a 1-1 tie.
Grey gave the Hornets a 1-0 lead early in the second half, but Brighton would score the equalizer and the game would end in a draw.
