Saline Tennis Rolls to Three Wins

The Saline tennis team had a big week, rolling to three wins, including a pair of shutouts.

The Hornets opened with an 8-0 win over Bedford September 4.

Ethan Snell and Cam Tressler rolled to 6-0, 6-0 wins at one and two singles, while Nathan Mah won 6-2, 6-3 at three singles and, Nathan Makowski won 6-0, 6-1 at four singles.

Brock Mayfield-Dhruv Talakar 6-2, 6-3; Kandhan Nadarajah-Nate Watson 6-2, 6-0; Brenden Morrison-Justin Wickham 6-1, 6-1; and Amod Talekar-Isaac Gilmore 6-1, 6-1 swept the doubles matches.

The Hornets then defeated Ypsilanti Lincoln 8-0.

Snell, Tressler, Mah, and Makowski all picked up singles wins.

Mayfield-Talakar, Watson-Zak Meyer, Wickham- Morrison, and Gilmore-Lucas Schultz were victorious in doubles.

Saline then took on a strong Chelsea squad and came out on top 5-3.

The same four Hornets swept their singles matches, with no one losing more then three games in their matches.

The match of the day and what turned out to be the deciding match came at three doubles where Morrison- Wickham defeated Kyle Mitchell-Evan Erber 6-1, 1-6, 13-11.
