SYNOPSIS SCIO TOWNSHIP REGULAR BOARD MEETING

Approved the minutes of the June 11, 2024 regular meeting as amended.
Approved payment of proposed claims dated June 26, 2024 and received prior check run report for June 12, 2024.
Appropriated $4,950 from the General Fund for the purpose of contracting for a search for an Interim Township Manager to serve at least until November 20, 2024. Held Public Hearing for Trailwoods Major Planned Unit Development Amendment. (Site Plan #24005/Zoning Ordinance Amendment #2024-03.)

Approved a conditional offer of employment to Heather Schmiege to serve as Parks Preserves Pathways Director for Scio Township.
Approved Site Plan #24005 and Zoning Ordinance Amendment #2024-03, Trailwoods Planned Unit Development based on the Planning Commission recommendation of approval of amendments and
condition of permit granted by EGLE set by the Board of Trustee’s.
Authorized the proposal for Park Road Final Engineering for Paving & Pathway Improvements (Zeeb Road to Cedar Ridge Drive.)
Authorized the proposal for Zeeb-Road Non-Motorized Shared Use Pathway-Phase V Final Design South of Peters Road to South of Huron River Drive.
Authorized committing Scio Township to participate in the consortium, seeking federal Regional Conservation Partnership Program grant funds, for eligible agricultural and natural open space protection projects within the township.
