Notice of Upcoming Bid Opportunity
Notice is being provided to any contractors and suppliers, that in the coming 60 days, separate Invitations to Bid will be issued directly to individual firms interested in bidding on the construction of Fire Station No. 2 located at 900 South Wagner Road, Scio Township, MI 48103. Invitations to Bids will be issued by the township’s Construction Manager, Cunningham-Limp Development Company, who will act as the Construction Manager (at risk) for the construction of the station.
Any subcontractor or suppliers interested in quoting the work should contact Scott Wheeler via email ( [email protected] ) by December 1, 2025, indicating their interest. A pre-qualification package will be sent back which is to be completed prior to the receipt of an Invitation to Bid and / or submittal of a bid for the work.
Trade work to be bid includes: Earthwork & Utilities; Site Concrete Pavement and Walks; Landscaping; Dumpster Gates; Shallow Foundations; Building Flatwork; Structural Concrete; Unit Masonry; Structural & Miscellaneous Steel; Cold Form Framing; Cold Form Metal Trusses; Rough Carpentry; Architectural Millwork; Solid Surfacing; Damp Proofing; Air Barrier; Joint Sealants; Shingles; Single Ply Roofing; Metal Panels; Hollow Metal; Wood Doors; Door Hardware; Sectional Overhead Doors; Four-Fold Doors; Aluminum Entrances & Storefront; Drywall & Metal Studs; Hard Tile; Carpet & Resilient; Painting; Mortar Epoxy Flooring; Signage; Toilet Accessories; Fire Extinguishers; Flagpoles; Fire Protection; Plumbing; HVAC (Geothermal Heat Pump); Electrical; Fire Alarm.
Work is anticipated to be awarded in the 1st quarter of 2026 with construction starting in 2nd quarter of 2026.
