CALL FOR BIDS—Due October 1, 2024
Sharon Township is seeking bids for the clearing of the back third of the Heim Road Cemetery,
also known as the Irwin or Raymond Cemetery at the corner of Heim and Grass Lake Roads in
the northwest area of Sharon Township. Please bear in mind that this old area of the cemetery
has been neglected for decades. Those who do this work must be sensitive to the probability
that headstones and markers will be buried in the ground and should not be damaged.
The bid(s) consists of two phases:
PHASE 1
Burning off to the east and west fence lines as well as approximately 1/3 of the cemetery to the
north fence line. Must show proof of liability insurance.
PHASE 2
Clearing and mulching of all burned areas, including downed branches. Land must be left ready
to mow. Must show proof of liability insurance.
