Sharon Twp: Notice of Voter Registration 7-22-24

TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SHARON:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of Sharon Township who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the Township Clerk; the office of the Washtenaw County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed or dropped off to the Township Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at mi.gov/vote.

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, July 22, 2024. After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.497) at the Township Clerk’s office, located at 18010 Pleasant Lake Road, Manchester 48158 at the following times:

• Saturday: August 3, 2024 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Election Day, Tuesday August 6 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the August 6, 2024 State Primary Election will be held for the purpose of electing candidates for the following offices:

  • Nominees for the Democratic and Republican Parties for U.S. Senator, Representative in Congress 6th District; Representative in State Legislature 46 th or 47 th District; Washtenaw County Offices of Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff, Clerk & Register of Deeds, Treasurer, Water Resources Commissioner, County Commissioner 3rd District; SHARON Township Offices of Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, Trustees; Delegates to County Convention.

Persons with special needs as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act should contact the clerk’s office. To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
