The Planning Commission of Sharon Township will hold a public hearing on an application to amend Section 21.02 of the Zoning Ordinance of Township of Sharon to revise the definitions of “agricultural service establishment” and “landscaping business” to include supplying, servicing, and storage of vehicles or machinery associated with those land uses.  The Planning Commission may also consider amendments to Article 5 of the Zoning Ordinance of Township of Sharon to place constraints on the  supplying, servicing, and storage of vehicles or machinery associated with those land uses such as: paved road access, requisite acreage, professional certifications, state licensure, legal disposal of waste products, screening and beautification, and road signage. Agricultural service establishments and landscaping businesses are special land uses in the Agriculture Zoning District.
