Silent Auction Looking for Artists and Designers

Community News 

The Artalicious Silent Auction Committee is looking for artists, designers, and creative people to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art for this year’s auction fundraiser held during Artalicious in downtown Adrian Saturday, September 21, 2024 through Sunday, September 22, 2024. Funds raised from this event will support Lenawee youth art programs. 

This year’s theme is “In the Garden,” with a focus on the Earth’s viability. Think types of gardens (butterfly, moonlight, rock, sensory, wildlife, fairy, Japanese Zen, water, “The Secret Garden,” etc. and types of things found in gardens (watering can, fountains, insects, animals, flowers, vegetables, trees, bird baths, bird houses, bird feeders, stepping stones). Use your imagination. Use any materials you like – wood, paint, clay, glass, metal, paper, cloth, mixed media, found/recycled objects, etc. Artists are encouraged to be creative. 

 Project entry forms may be obtained in person at the Adrian District Library, located at 143 E. Maumee St., Adrian, MI 49221, or online at adrian.lib.mi.us. 

This year’s auction is being hosted by the Adrian District Library. Completed project entries are due Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Bidding on items will begin on Wednesday, September 4 at 9:30 am and close during the Artalicious Fine Arts Fair on Sunday, September 22 at 4 pm. Winning bidders will be able to pick up their items starting at 5 pm on September 22.
