Neal Billetdeaux, Landscape Architect for Smith Group-JJR, attended the Manchester Village Council meeting in July 16 with an update on River Raisin Park.
Plans included discussion of paver colors and an addendum presented by Billetdeaux that included five additional light poles and down-lit fence lights. The down-lit fence lights will be on every other post on the boardwalk from main street.
With discussions continuing about River Raisin Park, council also talked about the dam and what its future might be. While Village President Pat Vailliencourt said there has been no interaction with the new owners of the Manchester Mill, Billetdeaux reported there was prior support for taking out the dam as part of the village’s master plan.
