Great works of art from every grade level, the Saline Area Schools Spring Art Show is coming up and it’s well worth the visit.
Scheduled for May 10-12, the Spring Art Show expects to be a good one. To learn more the Sun Times News connected with Kathleen Foley Edmonds, an art teacher at Saline High and Middle schools.
“The Spring Art Show is a longstanding tradition for Saline Area Schools,” Edmonds said. “Art teachers try to represent each class and grade level. We love to show off the incredibly talented young artists in the schools. Everyone is welcome; it is a free event for the community.”
The Spring Art Show exhibits artists using a variety of mediums creating drawings, paintings, prints, pottery, mixed media pieces and 3d sculptures.
The show is located in the Media Center of Saline High School.
It begins on Friday, May 10, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. At that time all Saline schools Art teachers will present at the show. The show will also run from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday -May 11 and 1-7 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.
