Sylvan Township Website Gets a Make-Over

By Mary Hall

Anyone wandering over to Sylvan Township’s website will notice some changes.  There is a fresh, new look, thanks to Loveesh Thatai and his in-house web designer, Javon Gatewood.  Thatai is the owner and operator of The Computer Source in Grass Lake, Michigan, and the successful bidder on the job for which bids were requested by the Sylvan Township board last year.  He was officially hired in November of 2017 after placing a bid of $3,000 for the initial site, with additional charges for hosting services or add-ons once the site was approved.

Since then his company has been busy redesigning the site, adding features such as a current news section, an up to the minute weather section, a more user-friendly menu system and what Thatai calls a better lay-out.

The new site was loaded on June 30, 2018 with a disclaimer that states, “Website still under development. Information may not be accurate.” This disclaimer will be removed soon, as they are very close to finalizing the site.

Website design is a service that The Computer Source offers all its customers.  They also sell computers, high definition television sales, surveillance camera sales, and custom gaming system sales.  In addition, they will travel to anyone’s home or business within a 30 mile radius of their Grass Lake location, with some exceptions taking them even further.  They have been providing these services since 2004.

The Computer Source is open Monday through Friday from 10am until 6pm and Saturday from 10am until 2pm and offer after hours service calls.  The Computer Source can be reached at 517-522-4445 or email .
