MEETING SYNOPSIS – July 2, 2024 REGULAR MEETING

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.  All members present.  Consent agenda approved. Meeting agenda approved.  The Board took action to: approve June 4, 2024 regular meeting minutes; approve accounts payable; direct the Zoning Administrator to review the Sylvan Township Land Preservation Ordinance; approve Administrative Site Plan Review $200 amendment to fee schedule Meeting adjourned at 7:46 pm.

MEETING SYNOPSIS – August 13, 2024 REGULAR MEETING

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.  All members present.  Consent agenda approved. Meeting agenda approved.  The Board took action to: approve July 2, 2024 minutes; approve Zoning Text Amendment 24-04; authorize Township Attorney to pursue legal action against developer Joe Trupiano regarding the Hillcrest Development; direct  the Zoning Administrator to contact the student/faculty members at the University of Michigan, to review the changes made to the current lighting ordinance;  submit the L-4029 tax request without the 4.4 mil payment from the Winter 2024 tax bill, and all bills going forward; hire Burman’s Tree Service to trim and remove branches at Maple Grove Cemetery; approve Comcast Internet Agreement for the Sylvan Township Water Plant; approve cost of $7,661.25 for landfill remediation per the 1992 contribution agreement. Meeting adjourned at 8:44 p.m.

MEETING SYNOPSIS – September 3, 2024 REGULAR MEETING

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.  All members present.  Consent agenda approved. Meeting agenda approved.  Western Washtenaw Recycling Authority gave a presentation.  The Board took action to: accept a quote from Computer Ties; direct the Supervisor to sign the letter of understanding dated September 3, 2024 regarding 2800 Sylvan Road; hire Burmans under the supervision of sexton to remove the entire tree at a cost of $2500.  Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
