2026 BOARD OF REVIEW NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2026 Real and Personal Property Assessment Roll will be reviewed by the Board of Review on March 3, 2026 at 9:30 am. No assessment appeals will be heard at this meeting.
The Sylvan Township Board of Review will hear appeals by appointment or by letter at the Sylvan Township Hall at 18027 Old US 12, Chelsea, MI 48118. Taxpayers should call (734) 475-8890 ext. 111 to make an appointment. Appointments are preferred with walk-in appeals to be heard as the schedule allows. Written appeals must be received by 9:00 pm on March 11, 2026 (postmarks are not accepted).
PUBLIC APPEAL HEARINGS:
MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2026 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 2026 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Additional dates and times may be added as necessary if all appointments for the above dates and times have been filled. Taxpayers are welcome and encouraged to contact the Assessor’s Office prior to the Board of Review dates to discuss their assessments.
