MEETING SYNOPSIS – March 5, 2024 REGULAR MEETING

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. All members present. Consent agenda approved. Meeting agenda approved. The Board presented Carol Strahler with the 2024 Citizen of the Year. The Board took action to: approve February 6, 2024 and February 16, 2024 meeting minutes; approve accounts payable; approve the recommendation of Matthew Koenn to the Planning Commission; approve Jess Spike as Alternate for Board of Review; accept the revised 2024 Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals schedules; approve the contract with Checkered Lawn Care for the 2024 season; approve the 2024-2025 draft budget, to include the amendment of a 3.1% increase for the Trustees, Supervisor, and Treasurer. Meeting adjourned at 9:09 pm.

MEETING SYNOPSIS – March 20, 2024 SPECIAL MEETING

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. All members present. The Board held a budget public hearing for the 2024/2025 budget. No action was taken. Meeting adjourned at 7:12 p.m.

MEETING SYNOPSIS – March 25, 2024 SPECIAL MEETING

Meeting called to order at 10:00 a.m. All members present. The Board reconsidered prior action by the Board regarding the Westchester project and approved an option for a clubhouse and pool but did not require it; requirement of a park to remain open space; easement language that allows for the B2B trail will be added; standard phasing language; requirement of Township engineering approval of the water infrastructure plan showing proper water pressure within the development, allowed for a PC 188 ACT Special Assessment District, to spread the additional cost of water infrastructure improvements only as needed to provide necessary water pressure in the new phases of the project, with the understanding that the Township will not be financing the project through bonding or otherwise. The Board also approved Supervisor, Treasurer, Clerk, and Trustee Salaries and the General Appropriations Act of Sylvan Township Fiscal Year 4/1/2024 to 3/31/2025. Meeting adjourned at 12:05 p.m.
