Teri Aiuto, owner of Manchester Real Estate LLC., has announced her intent to run for the 52 District State Representative seat.

“I’m a small business owner, community advocate, and proud mother, I’m running for the State Representative because voters in the 52nd District deserve a strong and trusted voice in Lansing,” said Aiuto.

Aiuto said her priorities include budgeting to fix the roads, working to decrease auto insurance rates, and improving safety in the educational system. Aiuto said she is opposed to higher taxes and wants to cut wasteful spending of taxpayers’ dollars.

Aiuto’s government experience includes serving as Sharon Township Clerk from 1996-2012 and she spent 18 years on the Sharon Township Zoning Board.

Her community involvement includes working as a Washtenaw County 4-H assistant leader, as a middle and high school equestrian coach, and is a member of the Parent-Teacher Organization for Manchester Co-Op Pre-school.

Aiuto resides on a horse farm in Sharon Township and graduated from Manchester High School and Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
