Chelsea was well represented at a recent Detroit Tigers home baseball game when two of its own got to throw out the honorary first pitches.
Representing Chelsea at the June 21 Detroit Tigers home baseball game were Chelsea High School student Joseph Brodeur and resident Jeff Hephner. They both were given the honor of throwing out the first pitch.
Brodeur was supporting his mother, Rosie Brodeur, who is in her second battle with breast-brain cancer, and Hephner was there promoting the game show he hosts “Switch” https://www.gameshownetwork.com/switch.
Brodeur said it was a special experience he was grateful to have shared with his family.
Rosie Brodeur told the Sun Times News, “Our entire family is appreciative to the Detroit Tigers staff for their sincere, lifelong memories. We were able to watch batting practice, meet a couple of players, and watch the game from a suite.”
