NOTICE OF ELECTION NOTICE TO QUALIFIED ELECTORS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A STATE PRIMARY ELECTION



will be held on TUESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2018 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

To the qualified electors of Webster Township, notice is hereby given that a State Primary Election is being held for the purpose of voting on the following:

State Governor; Congressional U.S. Senator; Congressional Representative in Congress 7th District; Legislative State Senator 22nd District; Representative in State Legislature 52nd District; County Commissioner 2nd District; Delegate to County Convention; Whitmore Lake Public Schools Millage Proposal, Building and Site Sinking Fund Tax Levy.

A complete copy of the ballot (which includes wording of the proposal) may be obtained at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130 or at mi.gov/vote.

ABSTENTEE BALLOTS: Registered voters can receive an Absentee Ballot Application by contacting the Webster Township Clerk at 734-426-5103 (M-Th from 8-4) or online at mi.gov/vote. The office will be open Saturday, August 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the purpose of issuing Absentee Ballots. Please don’t postpone. Apply early to be sure your ballot arrives on time. The last day to pick up an Absentee Ballot in person is Monday, August 6, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and it must be voted in person at the township hall on that date.

The polling place is located at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, and is handicapped accessible with voting available in alternate forms (audio and braille).
