The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office reported the following details to Webster Township:
On April 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the 8300 block of Island Lake Road for a trespassing complaint. As Deputies arrived, they observed a subject attempting to leave the location in a vehicle they had previously searched for regarding a related complaint. Deputies contacted the driver and detected the odor of intoxicants coming from his person. They also observed several pints of alcohol in the driver’s door map pocket. Deputies performed sobriety evaluations and determined that the driver was intoxicated. The driver was placed under arrest, and a blood draw was completed. The laboratory results indicated that the driver had a blood alcohol content (BAC), which was nearly 4x the legal limit. Charges are pending with the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office.
