SYNOPSIS of Webster Township Special Board Meeting, May 7, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.

The Webster Township Special Board Meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Supervisor John Kingsley on May 7, 2024, at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130. Members present: Supervisor John Kingsley; Clerk Barbara Calleja; Treasurer John Scharf; Trustees Shelly Vrsek, Dan Munzel, John Westman; Deputy Supervisor Rick Kleinschmidt; Deputy Clerk Donna Whitney; and 0 citizens.

Motion to approve the agenda as presented. Carried.

Motion to adopt Resolution No. 09-24, as amended, to approve a 0.4735 millage renewal question for farmland and open space preservation, and to direct the Clerk to submit it to be placed on the August 6, 2024 election ballot. Carried.

Motion to adopt Resolution No. 10-24, as amended, to approve millage proposition ballot language to authorize the levying of 0.8255 mills to provide funding to maintain, reconstruct, resurface, or preserve roads in Webster Township, and to direct the Clerk to submit it to be placed on the August 6, 2024 election ballot. Carried.

Communication from Barbara Calleja was noted.
