NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO WEBSTER TOWNSHIP PRIVATE ROADS ORDINANCE

At a regular meeting of the Township Board of Webster Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, held at the Webster Township Hall on December 17, 2024 at 7 p.m., Township Trustee Savander moved to adopt the following amendment, which motion was seconded by Township Trustee Vrsek

An ordinance under the provisions of Public Act 246 of 1945 as amended to regulate the construction, maintenance and use of private roads within Webster Township, the use thereof by traffic, the parking of vehicles thereon, the administration and enforcement thereof, fees to defray the administration and enforcement costs incident thereof, and to insure that residences and buildings within the Township of Webster may be accessible to police and fire protection, and for other purposes, as follows:
The Township of Webster, Washtenaw County, Michigan Ordains:
Section 10 of the webster Township Private Road Ordinance shall be now referred to as ‘Expiration, Extension and Deferral’ and is amended in its entirety to address standards for permit expirations, to allow for administrative extensions and to permit deferral of construction subject to standards.
No changes are made to rest of the Ordinance.
