The Webster Township Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI, to gather input on each of the following items:

TEXT AMENDMENT 23-ZTA-02: Stormwater Management Regulations

Proposed amendment to Article 13 (Sections 13.120, 13.70, and 13.75) and a proposed replacement in its entirety of Article 14 Webster Township Zoning Ordinance. The proposed changes include updates to incorporate the current standards of the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commission and remove outdated Webster Township standards.

TEXT AMENDMENT 24-ZTA-02: ZBA Effect of Approval: Nonconforming lots, structures and Uses

Proposed Amendment to Article 13, Section 13.90 – Nonconforming Lots, Structures, and Uses: Effect of Approval. The proposed amendment introduces provisions to allow administrative extensions for approvals granted by the Zoning Board.

Copies of the proposed draft amendment are available at the Webster Township Hall for review.  The Planning Commission packet will also be available online at www.webstermi.us a week before the meeting date.

Written comments may be dropped off or mailed in advance to the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130 or emailed to zoningadmin@webstermi.us.  All correspondence (including via email) must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.  Verbal comments may be heard at the hearing.
