The Webster Township Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI, to consider the following request:
PRIVATE ROAD PERMIT AND VARIANCE REQUEST
The Township Board will hold a public hearing to facilitate the upgrading of the existing nonconforming private road to the standards of the Webster Township Private Road Ordinance, in a reasonably practical manner, subject to the following variances requested by the applicant: (1) To permit a hammerhead turnaround instead of a cul-de-sac at the end of the road, and (2) To reduce the minimum road width from 18 feet to 16 feet.
The subject road is located in Section 23, northside of W North Territorial Road, between Ryan Road and Jennings Road. This private road provides access to seven properties, located at 3676, 3672, 3668, 3680, 3660, 3648, and 3664 W North Territorial Road.
Copies of the proposed request are available at the Webster Township Hall for review. The Board meeting packet will also be available online at www.webstermi.us a week before the meeting date.
Written comments may be dropped off or mailed in advance to the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130 or emailed to the Township Clerk at tbrovont@webstermi.us. All correspondence (including via email) must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Verbal comments may be heard at the hearing.
