NOTICE OF ELECTION TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF YORK TOWNSHIP

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN

FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024

POLLS OPEN 7:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M.

Notice is hereby given that a General Election will be held in said Governmental Unit for the
purpose of electing candidates to the following offices:
Partisan:
President/Vice President of the United States; United States Senator; Representative in
Congress, 6 th District; Representative in State Legislature, 31st District; Representative in State
Legislature, 33rd District; Members of the State Board of Education; Regent of the University
of Michigan; Trustee of Michigan State University; Governor of Wayne State University.
Washtenaw County Offices: Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff, Clerk/Register of Deeds;
Treasurer, Water Resources Commissioner, County Commissioner, 3 rd District. Township
Offices: Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer and four Trustees.
Non-Partisan:
Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice of Supreme Court Incumbent Position Partial Term,
Judge of the Court of Appeals 3 rd District, Incumbent Position; Judge of the Circuit Court 22 nd
District, Incumbent Position; Judge of the Circuit Court, 22 nd District, Non-Incumbent Position;
Judge of the Probate Court, Incumbent Position; Judge of the District Court, 14A District,
Incumbent Position; Washtenaw Community College Board of Trustees; Board Members:
Saline Area Schools, Lincoln Consolidated Schools and Milan Area Schools.
Also, to vote on the following Proposals:
Washtenaw County Proposal 1; Washtenaw County Proposal 2; Washtenaw County Proposal
3; Washtenaw County Proposal 4; Washtenaw Intermediate School District Proposal; Milan
Area Schools Proposal; Lincoln Area Schools Proposal.

Voter Registration
The final day to register to vote through any method other than in-person with the local clerk
was Monday, October 21, 2024.  Following this deadline, individuals eligible to register as
electors have the option to register in-person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the
York Township Clerk’s Office, located at 11560 Stony Creek Rd. Milan, MI 48160. The in-
person registration times are as follows:
o Regular business hours: Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
o Friday, November 1, 2024 from 9:00am – 5:00pm
o Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
o Monday, November 4. 2024 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
o Election Day, November 5, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
