Request: Variance application to consider the construction of new second story addition to an existing single-story home at 420 Oakdale Drive. The proposed addition will not expand the existing footprint of the home. However, the existing home and the proposed addition encroach into the required minimum waterfront setback, side yard setback (east) and front yard setback (north). The new second story addition will be 26 feet 9 inches from the ordinary high-water mark of Long Lake where 60 feet is required, 18 feet 8 inches from the east property line where 20 feet is required and 18 feet 6 inches from the north property line along Oakdale Drive where 25 feet is required (section 7.04(B)).
