John Charles Sawicki, age 48 of Stockbridge, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2023. John was born December 27, 1974 in Dearborn Michigan.
He is survived by his parents John and Claire Sawicki, his wife Lisa, son Zachary and Jacob; step-sons Steven Scribor and Todd Williams, step-daughters Megan and McKenna WIlliams. Sister Christine (Walter) Hurst, nephew Connor and niece Audrey of Portland, Oregon and Sister in law Dana Minor of Johns Island, South Carolina.
John was employed by Ewie Co. INC as a CMS Manager for 5 years. John enjoyed working at Ewie, highly respected his boss and really loved Don and their breakfast sandwich meetings.
Family, friends and home life were the joys of John’s life. He was always happy to host friends and family; cracking jokes and playing practical jokes. He loved racing around on his Razor at the sand dunes, woodworking projects with his wife and kids, working on cars, the house and his property. He enjoyed teaching the kids how to fix their cars all the way to home repairs. He also enjoyed fishing especially with his sister in law Dana since she always caught the bigger fish.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 18th at 11:00 am at Gregory Community Church in Gregory Michigan. A reception will follow the service at the church.
