Her Legacy… Frances Nelly Vance, age 82, passed away unexpectedly June 4, 2023, surrounded by her husband and children. She was born March 4, 1941 to Robert & Mary (Tucker) Ryan in Dryden, New York. Fran was married to Thomas S. Vance on September 29, 1972 & had celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary this past September. She loved her garden & yard art and enjoyed sitting with her husband on the deck with a glass of wine to watch the wildlife. Fran worked for Dapco Industries, Dexter, for 30 years and was still employed there and loved it, and had no plans to retire. Fran was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

Her Family… Fran will be missed by her husband, Thomas Vance; children, Craig & Tracy (Vance) Lilley, Ty & Rose Vance, Troy & Tibby Vance, Terrance & Leah Vance; brother, Mike (Karen) Ryan; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Ryan.

Her Farewell… Fran’s life will be celebrated at a gathering of friends and family to be scheduled at a later date. The family wishes to thank the Livingston County EMS, Putnam Township Fire Department, and the emergency trauma team at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor for their kind and valiant effort to save her.
