Dexter: PC Public Hearing on Special Land Use

CITY OF DEXTER PLANNING COMMISSIN PUBLIC HEARING SPECIAL LAND USE REQUEST FOR A PERSONAL FITNESS CENTER

Pursuant to Michigan Public Act 110 of 2006 (the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act), as amended, notice is hereby given that the City of Dexter Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 7:00 pm. The public hearing will be held at Dexter City Hall, 3515 Broad St, Dexter, Michigan.

The purpose of the public hearing is to consider an Application for Special Land Use, for a gymnastics facility. The applicant is Launie Aben, as the owner of Champion Gymnastics, Ann Arbor. The property owner is Song and Crane LLC. The subject site of the proposed special land use is 2362 Bishop Circle East (08-08-07-125-018). The subject site is zoned RD, Research and Development. In the RD district, personal fitness centers are special land uses.

A copy of the proposed special land use application is available for public inspection at the City Offices, 3515 Broad St, Dexter, MI 48130; weekdays between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All comments must be received no later than close of business the day of the meeting.
