Janice Faye Kopinski, age 73, of Dexter, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at The University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan after a sudden illness.
Janice was born to Harold and Leta Shaffer on February 9th, 1950 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She married Daniel Kopinski on July 31st,1970.
Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who expressed her love through her cooking and baking for those she cared deeply for. Janice also spent over 20 years as a school bus driver for the Dexter and Pinckney School districts.
She is survived by her husband Dan, their two sons: Brett and Keith along with his wife Marie and grandson Anthony. Jan also had many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Leta Shaffer, Dan's parents, Ferdinand and Irene, her sister Shirley Shugg, Brother Duane Shaffer, and his wife Stella.
No funeral services are planned at this time.
