MEETING SYNOPSIS – AUGUST 1, 2023 REGULAR MEETING
Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. All members present. Consent agenda approved. Meeting agenda, as amended, approved. The Board took action to: approve the minutes from the August 1, 2023 Regular meeting, approve accounts payable, approve an amended Electronic Mail Usage Policy, accept the resignation of David Jorgensen from the Board of Review, and appoint Dave Reinhardt to the Board of Review. The Board tabled the following agenda items: Washtenaw County Bond Contribution discussion, Board and Planning Commission Minute Transcription policy, Freedom of Information Act Policy amendments, Washtenaw County Community College Team Building proposal. Meeting adjourned at 8:08 pm.
MEETING SYNOPSIS – AUGUST 30, 2023 SPECIAL MEETING
Meeting called to order at 10:32 a.m. All members present. The Board took action to name Carol Konieczki as the Administrative Point of Contact for Beckett & Raeder, the firm contracted for the Master Plan review and authorized the Clerk to sign the Declaration of Intent to enter into an agreement with Washtenaw County for Early Voting. The Board discussed but took no action on a proposed settlement agreement for Montagne Trail, a bond counsel memo regarding the use of connection and tap-in fees for the Sewer and Water systems, and designations for ARPA funds. Meeting adjourned at 11:56 a.m.
MEETING SYNOPSIS – SEPTEMBER 5, 2023 REGULAR MEETING
Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. All members present. Consent agenda approved. Motion to remove an agenda item to discuss the allowance of marijuana in the Township failed. Meeting agenda, as presented, approved. The Board took action to: revise the township’s Freedom of Information Policy; approve Washtenaw County College Workplace Development for Teambuilding and Communication Training for three 3-hour sessions, not to exceed $3,000.00; approve the removal of a condition to require a Chelsea Area Fire Authority review for Sylvan Crossing Phase II plan. The Board tabled the following agenda items: Discussion on Allowing Marijuana in Sylvan Township, a Recreation Contribution to the Reimagine Timber Town Park project, and Removal of a Second Public Comment. Meeting adjourned at 10:00 pm.
MEETING SYNOPSIS – SEPTEMBER 26, 2023 SPECIAL MEETING
Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. All members present. The Board approved the following: the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Financial Audit; authorization for the Township Clerk to sign the Washtenaw County Early Voting Agreement. Meeting adjourned at 6:23 p.m.
