NOTICE OF ADOPTION (ZMA 23-001 and ZTA 23-001)
Notice is hereby given that the Township Board for Lyndon Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan adopted zoning map amendment (ZMA 23-001) which will change the zoning on the property at 9750 Stofer Road (parcel # E-05-24-100-028) from the current zoning classification of Rural Residential (RR) to the new zoning classification of Neighborhood Commercial (NC).
Notice is also hereby given that the Township Board for Lyndon Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan adopted zoning text amendment (ZTA 23-001) which will amend the lot coverage requirements for commercial storage warehouse uses in Chapter 14 Special Land Uses, Section 14.04 Special Land Use Specific Requirements, (H) Commercial Storage Warehouses, Item 4 which states:

No more than seventy percent (70%) of the site shall be covered with buildings or pavement. |
A copy of the new zoning map and text amendments may be inspected or purchased at the Township Offices (17751 N. Territorial Road, Chelsea, MI 48118). The new Zoning Ordinance Amendments will also be posted on the Township’s website at http://www.twp-lyndon.org/about_us/public_notices.php

The adopted amendment shall become effective 7 days after the notice is published, unless referendum procedures are initiated under MCL 125.3402 within seven (7) days after publication of this notice of adoption. If referendum procedures are initiated, the ordinance shall take effect in accordance with MCL 125.3402.
