  1. Approval of Appointment to the Human Rights Commission (Mayor Pacheco)

MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Keaton to appoint Howard Brooks to the Human Rights Commission for a term ending February 1, 2028. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval of Appointment of City Council Member as Liaison to Chelsea School Board of Education and Washtenaw Urban County Representative (Mayor Pacheco)

MOTION Merkel SECONDED Iannelli to Appoint Council Member Henson as the Chelsea School Board of Education liaison and to Appoint Council Member Henson as the Washtenaw Urban County Representative. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval of Amendment to Agreement with Washtenaw County for Election Services (Clerk Sebestyen)

MOTION Merkel SECONDED Keaton to approve the amendment to the Election Services Agreement with Washtenaw County Clerk/Register’s Office. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval of Agreement with Midwestern Consulting for Surveying, Engineering Design, and Bidding Assistance for 2025-2026 Street Projects (Manager Colburn)

MOTION Keaton SECONDED Merkel to approve the professional services agreement with Midwestern Consulting for Surveying, Engineering Design, and Bidding Assistance for 2025/2026 street projects, in an amount not to exceed $91,000. All ayes. Motion carried.  

  • Approval of Agreement with Midwestern Consulting for Surveying, Engineering Design, and Bidding Assistance for 2025-2026 Street Projects and 2026 Sidewalk Project (Manager Colburn)  

MOTION Merkel SECONDED Iannelli to approve the agreement with Midwestern Consulting for Surveying, Engineering Design, and Bidding Assistance for 2025 – 2026 street projects, in an amount not to exceed $239,700. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval to Release Chelsea Gateway Housing Project Request for Proposals (Manager Colburn)
  • Adopt Resolution #2025-9 to Elect the 80/20 Cost Sharing Model for Medical Insurance Under Public Act 152 (Director King)

MOTION Keaton SECONDED Iannelli to adopt resolution #2025-9 to elect 80/20 Cost Sharing Model for Medical Insurance under PA 152. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval of Rent-to-Purchase Agreement for a 2022 Bucket Truck for the Electric Department and Sale of Current Bucket Truck (Operations Manager Stevens)

MOTION Mehuron SECONDED Merkel to approve the sale of the existing bucket truck at an online auction. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval of Appointment of David Shaw to the Chelsea Area Housing Commission (Mayor Pacheco)

MOTION Keaton SECONDED Merkel to approve the appointment of David Shaw to the Chelsea Area Housing Commission. All ayes. Motion carried.
