Webster Township Police Summary, Feb. 2026

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office reported 92 calls for service in Webster Township in February 2026. Total calls for 2026 (Jan-Feb) are 172, down from 190 last year, a 9% decrease.

Traffic Activity Declines

Deputies conducted eight traffic stops in February. Four citations were issued.

Violations included driving with a suspended license, failure to stop for a school bus, improper turning, and no insurance. Most traffic stops were related to speeding and general traffic violations. Officers responded to 12 traffic crashes.

Crime and Incident Overview

Assaultive crimes remained low, with one reported incident in February. There was one credit card fraud complaint.

Officers also responded to three medical assists and one OWI-related incident.

Calls and Community Activity

Other common calls included 24 miscellaneous complaints, 20 non-criminal complaints, and 13 miscellaneous traffic complaints. Deputies also responded to seven animal complaints, and five sick or injury complaints.

Deputies spent 1,225 minutes assisting outside the township, primarily in Scio Township, while outside agencies provided 283 minutes of assistance within Webster Township.
