Alicia Abbott Enters Race for Dexter Township Trustee

Alicia Abbott has declared her candidacy for the position of Dexter Township Trustee and is asking for your vote in the upcoming August 6th Primary Election. Abbott currently holds positions on the township’s Planning Commission and Local Roads Committee.

Abbott’s community involvement includes volunteering for Dexter Township Clean Up days and providing audio-visual technical support when requested. She has also participated in Township Strategic Planning Sessions.

According to Abbott’s campaign, although she is not a board member, she has attended all Board of Trustee Meetings since 2021. The candidate reports endorsements from former Michigan State Representative Gretchen Driskell, the Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtors, and four current Township board members: Karen Sikkenga, Karen Nolte, Laura Sanders, and Lonnie Scott.
