Lodi Twp: Board of Trustees Meeting Synopsis 6/3/25

LODI TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

June 3, 2025 6:30 P.M.

The meeting opened with the flag pledge at 6:30pm. Seven board members were present; several members of the public were present. The Consent Agenda items were approved as presented. There was no attorney report. There was a short Planning Commission Report. There was a short Public Comment. The agenda was approved as presented with the addition of one item to new business.  Old Business: Ethics policy discussion. Agenda items: 2024-2025 Audit Presentation, approval of audit as presented, Ann Arbor Baptist Church site plan discussion, approval of L4029, approval of Macke Fireworks Display, employment policy discussions and approval (employee handbook at-will statement, driving record policy), approval of concealed pistol policy, Social Media Policy was tabled, Township Hall Use form approval, approval of addition to Police Services contract, Short Term Rental discussion, Discussion on Recycling, approval to have Western Washtenaw Recycling provide services at the Township Hall starting July 1. Public Commet was received by 4 people. Next regular scheduled board meeting is July 1, 2025, starting at 6:30pm. The minutes may be viewed, after approval, on the Lodi Township website at (www.loditownshipMI.org) are available for review or purchase at the Township Hall during regular business hours.
