NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED REZONING
Notice is hereby given that the Chelsea Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing for
the amendment of the Chelsea City Zoning Ordinance (Ord. No. 181). The request is for a
Special Land Use to allow a Small Animal Clinic within the T-2 Transitional Zoning
District located at 1513 S. Main Street, Chelsea, Michigan, further described as:
Parcel Tax ID No.: 06-06-13-450-010
The public hearing will be held by Chelsea Planning Commission on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at
7:00 p.m. Meeting to be held in the City Municipal Building (Council Chambers) located at 311
S Main Street, Chelsea, MI. A Zoom option will be available to members of the public,
information will be posted to the City’s website within 72 hours of the meeting (www.citychelsea.org)
The rezoning petition was filed by Jess Spike (6310 Werkner Rd.) and is on file in the office of
the Planning & Zoning Department, 305 S. Main Street, Suite 100, Chelsea, MI and may be
examined prior to the date of the hearing.
Signed, written comments concerning the application will be accepted prior to the Planning
Commission meeting and may be read at the meeting if requested. Comments should be
addressed to the Chelsea Planning Commission, 305 S Main St, Suite 100, Chelsea, MI 48118.
Persons requiring reasonable accommodations to disabilities in order that the hearing be
