Each year, Chelsea District Library and partners present the Midwest Literary Walk, a tradition that started over a decade and a half ago. Nationally recognized and award-winning authors from around the country are welcomed to Chelsea, where attendees listen to talks and readings, and get a chance to meet each author as they get their books signed. This year we welcome Memoirist & New Yorker Cartoonist Roz Chast, American Book Award Author and Poet Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, and 2023 Michigan Notable Book Award Author Wade Rouse (Viola Shipman).

Event Schedule:

Roz Chast | 1pm | Main Street Church | 320 N. Main St., Chelsea MI

Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni | 2:30pm | Chelsea First Congregational Church | 121 E. Middle St., Chelsea, MI

Wade Rouse | 4pm | Chelsea First United Methodist Church | 128 Park St., Chelsea, MI

No registration is required. This event is open to the public and there is no charge for attendance.
