TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF LIMA TOWNSHIP
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON
TUESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2022
FROM 7:00 AM TO 8:00 PM
A STATE PRIMARY ELECTION WILL BE HELD FOR THE PURPOSEs OF nominating CANDIDATES and TO VOTE ON one DEXTER COMMUNITY schoolS millage proposal, (SEE SUMMARIES BELOW). PRECINCTS AND POLLING LOCATIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS: LIMA TOWNSHIP HALL, PRECINCTS 1 & 2: 11452 JACKSON ROAD AT LIMA CENTER ROAD.
The polling location is accessible to voters with disabilities and a Voter Assist Terminal is available. Absentee ballot applications for all elections are available during normal business hours at the Lima Township Office, located at 12172 Jackson Road, Dexter, on-line at www.limatownshipmi.gov and www.mi.gov/vote. The August 2, 2022 Primary Election is being held for the purpose of electing candidates for the following offices and for the Dexter Community School District, one millage as follows:

- State Senator – 14th

- County Commissioner – 1st District
- Delegates to County Convention

PROPOSAL SECTION:
LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT: Dexter Community Schools Recreation Millage Proposition. (Excerpt) Shall the board of education be authorized to levy not to exceed 1 mill for a period of 20 years, for the purpose of providing funds for operating a system of public recreation and playgrounds; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect for such recreation program if the millage is approved and levied in 2022, is approximately $1,441,238?
