NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION

SYLVAN TOWNSHIP

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN

TO: THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF SYLVAN TOWNSHIP, WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN, AND ANY OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the following is a summary of an Ordinance (Ordinance 22-01) that amends the Zoning Chapter/Map to rezone certain properties. The Ordinance was adopted by the Township Board of Sylvan Township at a regular meeting held on August 9, 2022.

ORDAINS:

SECTION 1

REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT TO THE AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT

This section rezones the following parcels from the “BP” Business Park District zoning classification to the “AG” Agriculture District zoning classification.

Tax parcel ID Nos.: F-06-24-100-002, F-06-24-200-011, F-06-24-100-003, F-06-24-100-001,

F-06-24-100-004, F-06-24-100-005, F-06-24-400-001, F-06-24-200-005, F-06-23-100-004

SECTION 2

REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT TO THE GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT

The section rezones the following parcels from the “BP” Business Park District zoning classification to the “GC” General Commercial District zoning classification

F-06-24-200-015

SECTION 3

REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT TO THE INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT

The section rezones the following parcels from the “BP” Business Park District zoning classification to the “I” Industrial District zoning classification.

F-06-13-300-006, F-06-13-300-007, F-06-13-300-012, F-06-13-300-032, F-06-13-300-033

SECTION 4

SEVERABILITY

This section provides for severability of any section, clause or provision of this Ordinance if declared unconstitutional, illegal or of no force and effect by a court of competent jurisdiction.

SECTION 5

EFFECTIVE DATE AND
REPEAL

This Ordinance shall take effect on the 8th day following publication, after adoption by the Township Board. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed.
