SYNOPSIS OF JUNE 2022 BOARD MEETING MINUTES

LYNDON TOWNSHIP – 17751 N. Territorial Road, Chelsea, MI 48118. Summary of Minutes, June 14, 2022—Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM. During Public Comment, attendees addressed the Unadilla Baseline Cemetery.

Items Approved: Agenda; Consent Agenda and Payment of Bills. Zoning Administrator and CAFA Representative submitted their reports in writing to the Board; Deputy Supervisor addressed Broadband and the website; Representative to Multi-Lakes Water & Sewer Authority summarized his written report to the Board. WWRA Representative summarized his written report to the Board. Items Approved: Reduce the 2022 Broadband winter tax millage from 2.9 to .00072; Move the Recreation Master Plan Steering Committee Membership List as presented by the Lyndon Township Supervisor; Amend the Fiscal Year 7/1/21-6/30/22 Budget; Approve the MTA Invoice for annual does of $3,272.10; Legal Defense Fund of $96.16; and Premium Pass of $1,900 for a total of $5,270.26. The meeting adjourned at 8:10 PM. Summary of Minutes, June 22, 2022 – Meeting called to order at 5:00 PM. No Public Comment. Items Approved: Agenda. Workshop on Lyndon Township Budget for Fiscal Year 7/1/2022 through 6/30/2023. Meeting adjourned at 6:13 PM. Summary of Minutes, June 28, 2022 –Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM. Items Approved: Budget amendments for Fiscal Year 7/1/2021-6/30/2022; Supervisor’s salary at $31,380 for FY 7/1/22-6/30/23; Clerk’s Salary at $31,380 for FY 7/1/22-6/30/2023; Treasurer’s salary at $31,380 for FY 7/1/22-6/30/23; Salary Authorization of $4,078 for each Trustee for FY 7/1/22-6/30/23; Adopt 2022 tax levy of .6974 and the Broadband debt millage of .00072; Approved an amount not to exceed $10,000 to replace the old air conditioner and old furnace in the basement of the Boardroom and office staff can make the decision for the replacement not to exceed $10,000.00; Adopt the General Appropriations Act of Lyndon Township for the Fiscal Year 7/1/22-6/30/23 and update the amount for the Public Improvement Fund of $18,500.00; Adopt the Fiscal Year 7/1/2206/30/23 Budget for Lyndon Township with the amendment to add $10,000 for a new furnace and air conditioner; Close the Public Hearing; Fiscal Year end bills as presented in Item 6A.a-d; Meeting calendars for the Lyndon Township Board, Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals for the Fiscal Year 7/1/2022-6/30/2023. Meeting adjourned at 7:40 PM.
