NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A GENERAL ELECTION WILL BE HELD AT

THE WASHINGTON STREET EDUCATION CENTER

500 WASHINGTON STREET, Chelsea, MI

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2022

FROM 7:00 AM TO 8:00 PM

The November 8, 2022 General Election is being held for the purpose of voting for the following offices and three proposals:

PROPOSAL SECTION

Proposal 22-1

A proposal to amend the state constitution to require annual public financial disclosure reports by legislators and other state officers and change state legislator term limit to 12 total years in legislature.

Proposal 22-2

A proposal to amend the state constitution to add provisions regarding elections.

Proposal 22-3

A proposal to amend the state constitution to establish new individual right to reproductive freedom, including right to make all decisions about pregnancy and abortion; allow state to regulate abortion in some cases; and forbid prosecution of individuals exercising established right.

The polling location is accessible to voters with disabilities. A Voter Assist Terminal is available at the polling location. Absentee Ballot Applications are available at the Chelsea City Office located at 305 S. Main Street, online at www.city-chelsea.org/clerk. Chelsea City Clerk’s office will be open on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for the purpose of issuing absentee ballots.
