Synopsis of Regular Meeting Minutes

October 10, 2022

Supervisor Luick opened the meeting at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance. All board members were present.

The evening agenda was approved as presented.

The Board approved the consent agenda: meeting minutes of September 12, 2022, accounts payable for $12,580.79, and payroll for $9,800.94.

During public comment George Panagoulias spoke to the Board regarding a marijuana dispensary. A resident suggested having clerk candidates work the November election, and three residents voiced their concerns with the proposed Wolf Development.

The Treasurer, Clerk, Supervisor and other committee reports were given.

During old business the Board took no action and decided to notify the City of Chelsea that section 2.1 of the Wolf Development 425 Agreement was not acceptable.

During new business, a motion was passed to spend $650 for asphalt millings to improve drainage in the parking area of the township hall before the November election. A document scanning proposal to digitalize township records was postponed pending more information on retrieval options. The Board set a special meeting to interview clerk candidates on November 10, 2022, at Noon. The Board approved Mariano Sastre of Lima Township to start on October 19 as the new zoning administrator – ordinance enforcement officer.

There was no final public comment, and the meeting was adjourned at 9:00 PM.
